In kindergarten, children should be seen as individuals in their educational process and should be encouraged to reach their maximum creative potential through different subjects and curriculum domains, among which there's the expression and communication area and the subdomain of visual arts, integrated into the artistical education domain - visual arts should assume an effective role in the process of integral formation of children. In the face of such a design, we may justify the development of this study that supports this article, to answer the main question: "What's the importance of visual arts in the development of children's creativity aged 2 to 6 years old?". This question induced the profound analysis of the literature review, among which, the curricular orientation for preschool education, to better understand the broadness and influence of artistic education in the educational system and conduct a sustained inquiry into early childhood education professionals working in many education establishments across continental Portugal. From the overall study, and synthesizing, it's possible to infer that there're advantages and influence of visual arts in boosting creativity, as a main competence to the integral growth of more imaginative, judgmental and free children during moments of socialization and leisure.
