O presente estudo visa relacionar o conteúdo científico e técnico presente nos
artigos dos Anais do Clube Militar Naval no período compreendido entre 1871 e 1879
com a evolução histórica da Marinha nesse mesmo período. Com um total de 114
artigos técnicos e 17 artigos científicos retirados dos Anais do Clube Militar Naval no
período referido anteriormente, irá assim ser feita a sua análise e posteriormente a sua
relação com a evolução histórica da Marinha.
O estudo foi realizado com o intuito de avaliar qual a influência que os Anais do
Clube Militar Naval podem ter tido nas decisões sobre o desenvolvimento e
modernização da Marinha, ou, em outros casos, se a sua publicação foi feita com o
intuito de trazer notícias de outros países, assim como algumas críticas ao atraso na
modernização
Este estudo foi desenvolvido com a relação entre os artigos dos Anais do Clube
Militar Naval e a evolução histórica da Marinha portuguesa, tendo em conta os seus
autores, muitos oficiais de Marinha, analisaram-se os artigos e relacionou-se com as
mudanças que realmente foram realizadas, tanto a nível de modernização como da
mentalidade política em aceitar as inovações e novidades que surgiam.
Os resultados obtidos através de uma análise crítica entre os artigos recolhidos e a
história da Marinha revelaram que todos os artigos eram atuais, assim como a sua
escrita, na maioria dos casos, tinha o intuito de revelar inovações e aperfeiçoamentos
que estavam a ser feitos noutras Marinhas. O presente estudo torna-se importante
devido ao facto de nunca ter sido realizado, assim o desafio tornou-se maior devido ao
facto de não existir algo a ter como base. Ainda assim os resultados, tendo em conta o
objetivo da investigação, foram bastante positivos, pois conseguiu-se comprovar que os
artigos publicados nos Anais do Clube Militar Naval mantinham-se bastante atuais e
influenciaram algumas mudanças na Marinha portuguesa.
This study aims to relate the scientific and technical articles in this issue of Anais do Clube Militar Naval in the period between 1871 and 1879 with the historical evolution of the Navy during the same period. With a total of 114 technical articles and 17 scientific papers taken from the Anais do Clube Militar Naval in the period mentioned above, will thus be made later analysis and its relation to the historical evolution of the Navy.
