Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório de Estágio, surge no âmbito do Mestrado de Enfermagem em Associação na área de especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica – A Pessoa em Situação Crítica. Constitui uma ferramenta de reflexão sobre o desenvolvimento de competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica e Mestre em Enfermagem.
O processo de doença súbita acarreta desafios para a pessoa que se encontra em situação crítica e para a sua família. O processo de comunicação surge como um instrumento de qualidade e segurança dos cuidados, tendo sido identificada como tema para a intervenção major no serviço, com o objetivo de adequar estratégias para uniformizar o seu processo. A intervenção major segue a metodologia de projeto e o MMPBE de June Larrabee, tendo sido elaborada uma instrução de trabalho.
A realização do estágio no serviço de urgência, associado ao conhecimento, adquirido através da prática baseada na evidência, permitiram o desenvolvimento das competências.
This Internship Report is part of the Master's Degree in Nursing in Association in the specialisation area of Medical-Surgical Nursing - The Critically Ill Person. It is a tool for reflection on the development of common and specific competences for nurses specialising in Medical-Surgical Nursing and Masters in Nursing. The sudden illness process brings challenges for the person who is in a critical situation and for their family. The communication process appears as an instrument for quality and safety of care, having been identified as a theme for major intervention in the service, with the aim of adapting strategies to standardize its process. The major intervention follows June Larrabee's project methodology and MMPBE, and a work instruction was prepared. Carrying out the internship in the emergency department, combined with the knowledge acquired through evidence-based practice, enabled the development of competences.
