| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho de investigação foca-se na artilharia de campanha durante o período da Guerra de África (1961-1974) nos teatros de operações de Angola, Guiné e Moçambique, com o objetivo de verificar como estavam organizadas e equipadas, e como atuaram as unidades de Artilharia de Campanha. A metodologia utilizada para a elaboração tem como base o método de investigação histórica, baseado numa abordagem diacrónica e sincrónica, analisando as variáveis atuantes e as relações entre as mesmas ao longo do período em estudo, procurando criar um modelo teórico de análise baseado nas relações entre os parâmetros organização, meios, posicionamento e missões desempenhadas. Com este trabalho podemos verificar que a organização base da artilharia de campanha durante o ultramar foi o pelotão, que normalmente se encontrava localizado num aquartelamento sendo elemento chave para a defesa do mesmo aquartelamento onde se encontrava. Os pelotões executavam missões de defesa imediata, apoio a operações móveis, missões de flagelação, e interdição de fronteira. O material utilizado nos teatros de operações foi o Obus 7,5 Montanha, Obus 8,8 cm, Obus 10,5 cm K/R, peça 11,4 cm, Obus 14 cm e Obus 15 cm, embora nem todos tenham verificado a sua presença nos três teatros de operações. Quanto à dispersão dos pelotões pelos teatros verificamos que estavam concentrados no norte de Angola e na zona a Leste, sendo que se encontravam aqui os grandes corredores de infiltração dos insurgentes na Guiné estavam um pouco espalhados por toda a província, em Moçambique o dispositivo foca-se essencialmente a Norte e na zona de Tete perto de Cahura Bassa. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This research work focuses on field artillery during the War of Africa period (1961-1974) at the theaters of operations in Angola, Guinea and Mozambique, in order to verify how they were organized and equipped, and how the units of field artillery were used, the methodology used for this thesis is based on the historical research method, based on a diachronic and synchronic approach, analyzing the acting variables and the relations between them period at study, seeking to create a theoretical model of analysis based on the relationships between organization parameters, means of employment, positioning and missions performed. With this work we can verify that the base organization of the field artillery during the overseas was the platoon, that normally was located in a quartering being a key element for the defense of that same base where it was, the platoons executed missions of immediate defense, support to mobile operations, flogging missions, and border interdiction. The material used in the theaters of operation was Obus 7.5 Mountain, Obus 8.8 cm, Obus 10.5 cm K / R, piece 11.4 cm, Obus 14 cm and Obus 15 cm, although not all of them checked their presence in the three theaters of operations. As for the dispersion of the platoons in the theaters we found that they were concentrated in the north of Angola and in the zone to the East, where they were here the great infiltration corridors of the insurgents in Guinea, they were scattered a little throughout the province, in Mozambique the device focuses mainly to the North and in the area of Tete near Cahura Bassa. | pt_PT |
