No âmbito do Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória, da Escola Superior de Saúde de Santa Maria, em consórcio com a Escola Superior de Enfermagem São José de Cluny, surge o presente relatório de estágio intitulado: Competências Especializadas em Enfermagem Perioperatória: O Conforto Térmico da Pessoa a Vivenciar a Experiência Cirúrgica. Este tem como objetivos: evidenciar o desenvolvimento das competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na Área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória; demonstrar o desenvolvimento da capacidade crítico-reflexiva assim como competências de raciocínio clínico e tomada de decisão, e apresentar e discutir o presente relatório, demonstrando a aquisição de competências de mestre e de especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica.
Para concretização dos objetivos definidos, o plano de estudos contempla as seguintes Unidades Curriculares de prática clínica: Ensino Clínico I “Cuidar na sala Operatória” que se realizou em contexto de sala operatória num bloco operatório central e Estágio com Relatório, dividindo-se em Módulo I - Estágio em Unidade de Ambulatório e Módulo II - Estágio de Opção, também realizado numa Unidade de Cirurgia Ambulatório, cuja escolha se fundamenta na convergência entre motivações intrínsecas e a experiência previamente desenvolvida na área de especialidade. Neste ensino clínico desenvolvi um projeto de autoformação, que se focou na manutenção da normotermia visando o conforto térmico da pessoa a vivenciar a experiência cirúrgica.
A metodologia utilizada é descritiva, analítica e reflexiva, sustentada em evidência científica recente, advinda de pesquisa/revisão de literatura interpretadas e analisadas, apoiada no pensamento crítico e reflexivo e em vivências profissionais e pessoais. Como resultado de aprendizagem, os diversos contextos onde desenvolvi a prática especializada permitiram evidenciar a minha intervenção como futura Enfermeira Especialista no que concerne ao cuidar da pessoa em situação perioperatória e maximizar a segurança da pessoa e da equipa pluridisciplinar, congruente com a consciência cirúrgica.
As part of the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of Perioperative Nursing, offered by the Santa Maria School of Health, in partnership with the São José de Cluny School of Nursing, this internship report, entitled: Specialized Skills in Perioperative Nursing: Thermal Comfort of the Person Experiencing the Surgical Experience, is being produced. Its objectives are: to highlight the development of common and specific skills of the Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of Perioperative Nursing; to demonstrate the development of critical-reflective capacity as well as clinical reasoning and decision-making skills; and to present and discuss this report, demonstrating the acquisition of master's and specialist skills in Medical-Surgical Nursing. To achieve the defined objectives, the curriculum includes the following clinical practice units: Clinical Training I, "Care in the Operating Room," conducted in a central operating room; and Internship with Report. This module is divided into Module I - Internship in an Outpatient Unit; and Module II - Optional Internship, also conducted in an Outpatient Surgery Unit. The choice of internship is based on the convergence of intrinsic motivations and prior experience in the specialty area. In this clinical training, I developed a self-training project focused on maintaining normothermia to ensure the thermal comfort of the patient undergoing surgery. The methodology used is descriptive, analytical, and reflective, supported by recent scientific evidence derived from interpreted and analyzed research/literature reviews, supported by critical and reflective thinking, and professional and personal experiences. As a learning outcome, the various contexts in which I developed specialized practice allowed me to demonstrate my role as a future Specialist Nurse in caring for patients in perioperative situations and maximizing the safety of both the patient and the multidisciplinary team, consistent with surgical awareness.
