| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho descreve um projeto de intervenção direcionado para a Promoção das Relações Familiares e dos Laços Afetivos entre Doentes de Alzheimer Institucionalizados e a família. Foi executado no Lar de Santa Beatriz - Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Campo Maior. Intitula-se: “Promoção das Relações Familiares e dos Laços Afetivos entre Doentes de Alzheimer e a Família “. Este estudo assenta num percurso de investigação-ação e procura contribuir de algum modo promover as relações familiares e os laços afetivos com a família e os Doentes de Alzheimer em situação de institucionalização. A família assume particular importância na qualidade de vida e bem-estar emocional e psicológico destes doentes. Ao longo da prática foram definidos alguns objetivos: Promover as relações familiares entre utente/ família; Mediar conflitos, situações de cansaço e sobrecarga familiar; Informar/ formar a família sobre as razões que levam o idoso a ter determinado comportamentos e rotinas que conduzem a família e os cuidadores à exaustão e a comportamentos indevidos; Avaliar qual o tipo de relação que existia entre idoso e família antes da doença e da institucionalização; Avaliar a frequência das visitas e o grau de proximidade entre família e idoso; Perceber junto do idoso e da família as causas que conduzem ao afastamento; Responsabilizar a família na repartição de tarefas de lazer; Informar a família que o idoso necessita de afeto, carinho e de amor para obter mais qualidade de vida. Para concretizar estes objetivos foi delineado um plano de ação com sessões de sensibilização direcionadas aos familiares / cuidadores. O trabalho assenta em práticas de investigação com conhecimentos teóricos e metodológicos que foram imprescindíveis no plano de ação. Com o desenvolvimento do tema foi possível confirmar a importância que tem as relações familiares positivas e os afetos na vida dos Doentes de Alzheimer. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This paper describes an intervention project aimed for the Promotion of Family Relations and Affective ties between Institutionalized Alzheimer's Patients and the family. It was executed in the Care home of Santa Beatriz - Santa Casa de Misericordia in Campo Maior. It is entitled "Promotion of Family Relations and Affective ties between Alzheimer's patients and the family." This study is based on a course of action-research and seeks to contribute in some way to promote relations of family and emotional ties within the family and Alzheimer's patients in an institutionalizing situation. The family is particularly important in the quality of life and emotional and psychological well-being of these patients. Throughout practice some objectives were defined: To promote family relationships between user / family; Mediating conflicts, fatigue situations and family burden; Inform / educate the family about the reasons why the elderly have certain ways of behaviour and routines that lead to family and caregivers to exhaustion and improper behaviour; Assessment of what type of relationship that existed between elderly and family before the illness and institutionalization; To assess the frequency of visits and the degree of closeness between family and elderly; Perceiving with the elderly and the family the causes leading to withdrawal; Responsibility of the family in the distribution of leisure tasks; Informing the family that the elderly need affection, care and love to have a better quality of life. To achieve these goals a plan of action has been defined with awareness sessions targeted at families / caregivers. The work is based on research practices with theoretical and methodological knowledge which were essential in the action plan. With the theme of development it was possible to confirm the importance of positive family relationships and the effect on the lives of Alzheimer's patients. | pt_PT |
