O aumento do grau de exigência científica e técnica dos cuidados de saúde conduz a uma
necessidade de diferenciação e especialização dos enfermeiros. O presente relatório, realizado
no âmbito do Mestrado em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica (MESIP), na Escola
Superior de Enfermagem do Porto (ESEP), incidiu na análise da aprendizagem e do
desenvolvimento ao longo do estágio profissional, nos contextos clínicos hospitalares e de
cuidados de saúde primários. Objetivamos descrever o percurso de aprendizagem das
competências, comuns e específicas, do enfermeiro especialista em saúde infantil e pediátrica,
efetuar a sua análise critico-reflexiva baseada em evidência científica e aprofundar a área
temática: “Estratégias para promover o desenvolvimento psicoafectivo, dos zero aos seis anos:
promoção da parentalidade desenvolvimental”, que sustentaram atividades de educação para a
saúde. A escolha da temática fundamentada pelo atual enfoque, dos profissionais de saúde, na
promoção de competências parentais, o interesse socialmente difundido pelo desenvolvimento
infantil e pela parentalidade consciente, positiva e não punitiva e ainda, o nosso interesse
pessoal.
Recorremos à plataforma e4Nursing para explanarmos a conceção de cuidados para demonstrar
o julgamento clínico desde o planeamento de cuidados aos resultados, obtidos com base na
evidência científica disponível, para suportar as decisões e ações promotoras do
desenvolvimento das competências especializadas e procedemos a uma revisão integrativa da
literatura relacionada com a temática supracitada.
Demonstramos a prestação de cuidados à criança/família em contextos de saúde e de que
modo, permitiu adquirir as competências, comuns e específicas, do enfermeiro especialista em
enfermagem de saúde infantil e pediátrica. Explanamos reflexivamente como contribuímos para
a capacitação parental, e dos enfermeiros, em estratégias de desenvolvimento psicoafectivo e
concluímos sobre a importância de se implementar estratégias inovadoras e potenciadoras da
parentalidade desenvolvimental.
The increasing scientific and technical demands in healthcare necessitate specialization and differentiation among healthcare professionals. This report offers a reflective and critical analysis of the learning journey during professional placements in primary and secondary healthcare settings within the framework of the Master's program in Paediatric and Childhood Nursing at Porto Nursing School. The main objective of the report is to define the learning trajectory of both common and specific competencies of Paediatric and childhood specialist nurses, while conducting a critical-reflexive analysis grounded in scientific evidence, with a focus on the theme of "Strategies to promote psychosocial development from zero to six years old: promotion of developmental parenthood". The choice of this them is justified by the prevalent emphasis among healthcare professionals on fostering parenting skills, alongside the widespread societal interest in positive, non-punitive parenting and child development. The e4Nursing platform was utilized to explain the care concept and illustrate clinical judgment, from planning to outcomes, supported by available scientific evidence. This serves to support decisions and actions that cultivate specialized competencies, alongside conducting an integrative literature review related to the aforementioned theme. The report elucidates how delivering care to children and families in healthcare settings contributed to the attainment of both common and specific competencies of pediatric and childhood specialist nurses. Additionally, it deliberates on its contribution to empowering parents and nurses in psychosocial development strategies. Finally, the report concludes by underscoring the significance of implementing innovative and developmental parentingenhancing strategies.
