Abstract(s)
As Provas Físicas na Força Aérea tal como noutros ramos, não se restringem ao
momento da admissão. Elas são desenvolvidas posteriormente para os Candidatos
considerados APTOS ao longo da sua vida académica nos EESPUM, bem como
posteriormente no decurso da sua vida militar através de avaliações periódicas da condição
física.
No decorrer desta investigação foi aprofundado o conhecimento comparado em
relação às Provas Físicas no contexto dos três ramos das Forças Armadas e, em largo
espectro, na Força Aérea, no respeitante à admissão, treino físico militar bem como à
avaliação da condição física anual
Foi seguido o desenho de pesquisa misto, baseado no raciocínio hipotético-dedutivo e
estudo de caso.
Da análise efetuada concluiu-se que existe discrepância nas Provas Físicas entre as
Forças Armadas, tanto na execução como nos parâmetros de avaliação, sendo clara a falta
de uniformização de procedimentos e processos associados ao recrutamento. Nos termos e
disposições legais da Reforma 2020 e do Modelo de Governação Comum, foi possível
encontrar o catalisador que com especialistas na área em apreço, permitiu gerar consenso
sobre uma bateria de provas de aptidão física comuns na admissão EESPUM. Abstract: The Physical Tests in the Air Force as in other branches, are not restricted to the
moment of admission. They are developed later for the Candidates considered fit throughout
their academic life in the EESPUM, as well as later in the course of their military life through
periodic evaluations of the physical condition.
In the course of this investigation the comparative knowledge regarding Physical
condition was deepened in the context of the three branches of the Armed Forces and,
broadly, in the Air Force, regarding admission, military physical training as well as the
evaluation of the annual physical condition
The mixed research design was followed, based on hypothetical-deductive reasoning
and case study.
From the analysis carried out, it was concluded that there is discrepancy in the
physical tests between the Armed Forces, both in the execution and in the evaluation
parameters, being clear the lack of uniformization of procedures and processes associated
to the recruitment. Under the legal provisions of the Reform 2020 and the Common
Governance Model, it was possible to find the catalyst that, with experts in the area under
consideration, allowed consensus on a battery of common physical aptitude tests at
EESPUM admission.
