Abstract(s)
As diversas formas de surgimento e manifestação de criminalidade é um fenómeno mutável que, tem vindo a martirizar todo o tecido social, com particular destaque as novas formas de crimes que outrora S. Tomé e Príncipe não conhecia. Estes servem de estímulo, do sentimento de insegurança no país, tornando mais complexo quando as autoridades com competência para os investigar não as consegue porque não têm meios para o tal.
No âmbito deste estudo pretende-se saber que com o aparecimento de novos crimes em STP, sobretudo crimes contra as pessoas e patrimoniais e novos modus operandi, a utilização apenas da prova testemunhal seria suficiente para o combate dos mesmos. O estudo realizado revela que, existe necessidade urgente de criação de condições materiais e humanos para a utilização de outros meios de obtenção provas (provas científicas) na investigação criminal de forma a resgatar a confiança do cidadão na justiça bem como para estancar as novas formas de criminalidade que nos últimos tempos tem assolado a sociedade São-Tomense.
The various forms of emergence and manifestation of crime is a mutable phenomenon that has been martyring the whole social fabric, with particular attention to the new forms of crimes that São Tomé and Príncipe once did not know. These serve as a stimulus to the country's sense of insecurity, making it more complex when the authorities with the competence to investigate them do not succeed because they have no means to do so. In the scope of this study we intend to know that with the appearance of new crimes in STP, especially crimes against people and patrimonial and new modus operandi, the use of testimonial evidence alone would be enough to combat them. The study shows that there is an urgent need to create material and human conditions for the use of other means of obtaining evidence (scientific evidence) in criminal investigations in order to restore citizen confidence in justice as well as to stem new forms of Crime that has recently plagued Santomean society.
