A cadeia de abastecimento é um sistema complexo que envolve a aquisição de
matérias-primas, a produção, a distribuição e a venda de produtos. As compras, a gestão de
stock, o planeamento e a distribuição são atividades essenciais da cadeia de abastecimento.
As compras são responsáveis por adquirir os produtos e os serviços necessários para
a empresa. A gestão de stock é responsável por garantir que os produtos estão disponíveis
quando são necessários e na quantidade necessária. Já o planeamento é responsável por
coordenar as atividades da cadeia de abastecimento e a distribuição é responsável por
entregar os produtos aos clientes.
Uma gestão de stock eficaz pode reduzir custos, aumentar a eficiência, melhorar o
nível de serviço ao cliente e reduzir o desperdício de material. No entanto, a gestão de stock
pode ser uma tarefa complexa e desafiante.
Este projeto foi realizado em uma empresa do setor de dispositivos médicos com o
objetivo de aumentar a eficiência do processo de compras e gestão de stock da empresa em
estudo. Por meio de entrevistas com os funcionários foram identificados os principais
problemas da área, como o tempo excessivo gasto nas análises de stock, o excesso de
produtos, a desatualização da política de compras, dentre outros. Com isso, foram propostas
algumas medidas de melhoria no processo e na gestão da informação de compras.
A política de gestão de stock foi revisada, com foco na negociação das condições de
pagamento com fornecedores, revisão do catálogo e acompanhamento de produtos em
excesso.
Para automatizar o planeamento de compra foi proposta a criação de uma macro em
Excel, desenvolvida para identificar a necessidade de compra e a quantidade a encomendar.
A utilização do Power BI para visualização de dados de stock foi proposta como forma
de melhorar a gestão de stock. Com o Power BI, foram criados dashboards que fornecem
uma visão geral do stock da empresa, permitindo identificar problemas e tomar decisões de
forma mais acessível e transparente.
As melhorias implementadas no processo de compras e gestão de stock geraram
resultados positivos, como a redução do tempo gasto na gestão de stock, a obtenção de
melhores condições de pagamento e o acesso à informação de forma fácil e objetiva.
The supply chain is a complex system that involves the acquisition of raw materials, production, distribution and sale of products. Procurement, stock management, planning and distribution are essential supply chain activities. Purchases are responsible for purchasing the products and services necessary for the company. Stock management is responsible for ensuring that products are available when they are needed and in the required quantity. Planning is responsible for coordinating supply chain activities and distribution is responsible for delivering products to customers. Effective stock management can reduce costs, increase efficiency, improve customer service and reduce material waste. However, stock management can be a complex and challenging task. This project was carried out in a company in the medical devices sector with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of the procurement and stock management process. Through interviews with employees were identified the main problems of the area, such as excessive time spent on stock analysis, excess products, outdated purchasing policy, etc. With this, some improvement measures were proposed in the process and in the management of purchasing information. The stock management policy was revised, focusing on negotiating payment terms with suppliers, reviewing the catalog and monitoring excess products. To automate the purchase planning was proposed the creation of a macro in Excel, developed to identify the purchase need and the quantity to order. The use of Power BI for stock data visualization was proposed to improve stock management. With Power BI, dashboards were created that provide an overview of the company’s stock, allowing to identify problems and make decisions in a more accessible and transparent way.
