Abstract(s)
O presente Trabalho de Investigação Aplicada, inserido no Ciclo de Estudos do Mestrado Integrado de Ciências Militares, na especialidade de Artilharia, tem como objetivo determinar como podemos potenciar o emprego da Modelação e Simulação em proveito da Formação e Treino Operacional das unidades de Artilharia Antiaérea do Exército Português de forma a potenciar os militares Portugueses de Artilharia Antiaérea.
A Simulação está em constante expansão e é um campo cada vez mais necessário devido às diversas vantagens que oferece. Além disso, possibilita a interligação entre redes que permite a criação de vários e diferentes cenários.
É relevante conjugar a Modelação e Simulação com a Artilharia Antiaérea Portuguesa uma vez que no nosso Exército existe ainda a necessidade do estudo e análise das diferentes formas de evolução e desenvolvimento destas capacidades para o futuro.
Verificar as particularidades da Modelação e Simulação no caso particular da Artilharia Antiaérea possibilita a prática e as respetivas perceções de lacunas realizadas pelas nossas tropas, identificando assim aspetos a melhorar de forma a colmatar esses erros e passa-los de falhas a pontos fortes.
No decorrer deste estudo, corrobora-se que existe de facto a necessidade de investimento nesta área, sendo que a falta de meios de Modelação e Simulação seja um forte entrave no desenvolvimento das unidades de Artilharia Antiaérea.
The present Applied Research, inserted in the study cycle of the Integrated Master of Military Sciences in the specialty of Artillery, aims to determine how to leverage the use of Modeling and Simulation for the Operational Training of the Portuguese Army's Anti-Aircraft Artillery units in order to empower the Portuguese Air-Anti-Aircraft Artillery soldiers. Simulation is in constant expansion and is an increasingly necessary field due to the many advantages it offers. Furthermore, it enables the interconnection between networks that allows the creation of several and different scenarios. It is relevant to combine Modeling and Simulation with the Portuguese Anti-Aircraft Artillery since in our Army there is still the need to study and analyze the different ways of evolution and development of these capabilities for the future. Verifying the particularities of Modeling and Simulation in the particular case of Anti-Aircraft Artillery allows for the practice and the respective perceptions of gaps made by our troops, thus identifying aspects to be improved in order to correct those errors and turn them from failures to strengths. This study corroborates the fact that there is a need for investment in this area, and that the lack of Modeling and Simulation resources is a major obstacle to the development of Anti-Aircraft Artillery units.
