Abstract(s)

Este trabalho de investigação relaciona-se com os contributos que a Simulação pode dar nos campos da Formação e do treino militares. A complexidade que reveste o Carro de Combate Leopard 2 A6 leva a que seja necessária a utilização de meios alternativos para a Formação e Treino dos militares das guarnições desse mesmo sistema de armas. Por este motivo, através de entrevistas e de análise documental, pretende-se com este trabalho descobrir de que forma a Simulação pode contribuir para o aumento das capacidades técnicas e táticas dessas guarnições. Os resultados desta investigação revelam a existência de lacunas nos campos da Simulação, Formação e Treino no nosso Exército, que põem em causa a proficiência das guarnições por forma a garantir uma adequada qualificação e manutenção das mesmas.

Abstract This investigation work is related with the contributes that Simulation can give in the fields of military education and training. The complexity that covers the Main Battle Tank Leopard 2 A6, leads to a necessary use of alternative means for the education and training of the military crews of that weapon system. For this reason, by using interviews and document analysis, it’s intended with this work to discover how can Simulation contribute to the raise of the skills of those crews. The results of this investigation reveal the existence of gaps in the fields of Simulation, Education and Training in our Army that brings into question the proficiency of the crew in order to ensure a proper qualification and maintenance of those.
