As origens da Marinha portuguesa, em todas as suas vertentes – militar, civil,
comercial… - misturam-se com a própria origem do país. Assim, durante séculos a Marinha
tem deixado um vasto legado histórico que é justo e necessário proteger a fim de preservar
também a boa memória de Portugal.
Advindo da necessidade de ferramentas possibilitadoras de recolha, análise e
armazenamento da informação, de forma eficiente, o Projeto ARCHINAVES será uma maisvalia
em
informação
referente
a
navios,
pessoas,
missões
e
presença
naval
portuguesa
entre
o
séc.
XV
e
o séc.
XIX.
O Projeto pretende também ser um meio de divulgação da Marinha portuguesa das suas
origens até à atualidade.
Do ponto de vista funcional, nos seus três níveis complementares, o Projeto compor-seá
de um ficheiro Excel base a preencher pelos investigadores desejosos de contribuir para
preservação do legado histórico da Marinha portuguesa.
Seguidamente e após a informação validada pela Comissão de Acompanhamento do
Projeto ARCHINAVES, esta será atualizada na Base de Dados.
Tanto os investigadores como os interessados no geral poderão aceder à informação, quer
em português quer em inglês, bastando para tal aceder à página de Internet do Projeto.
The origins of the portuguese Navy, in all aspects - millitary, civilian, comertial... - are difuse with the very own origins of the country. During centuries, the Navy has been building a wide historical legacy that is faire and necessary to protect in order to preserve the good memory of Portugal. From the need of enabling tools for the gathering, analysis and storage of the information, on a efficient way, the Projeto ARCHINAVES will be very valuable in information of the ships, people, missions and portuguese naval presence from the 15th century to the 19th century. The Project ARCHINAVES also prettends to be a demonstrative of the way of the portuguese Navy since it´s origins until the actuality. From the functional view, on the three complementary levels, the Project is going to be composed by a Excel file to fill by the investigators desiring to contribute for the preservation of the portuguese Navy historical legacy. Following that, and after the information is validated by the Comissão de Acompanhamento do Projeto ARCHINAVES, that is going to be updated in the Data Base. The investigators as well as people interested in the project, can access to the information in portuguese and in english, just via accessing the internet page of the project.
