O presente relatório representa o culminar do percurso realizado no âmbito do sexto
Mestrado em Enfermagem em Associação com Especialização na vertente Médico-Cirúrgica:
a pessoa em situação crítica.
Objetivo: Descrever as atividades realizadas e as estratégias desenvolvidas ao longo do
percurso académico e do Estágio Final, que permitiram e demonstraram a aquisição e
desenvolvimento das competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro especialista em
Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica: a Pessoa em Situação Crítica, bem como as competências de
Mestre em Enfermagem.
Metodologia: Análise reflexiva sobre as principais atividades e estratégias desenvolvidas ao
longo do Estágio Final realizado num serviço de urgência e reflexão crítica sobre as
competências adquiridas. Apresentação e descrição do Projeto de Intervenção sobre
Comunicação de Más Notícias no Contexto de Urgência, elaborado de acordo com a
Metodologia de Projeto. Este projeto teve como objetivo a melhoria da qualidade dos cuidados
prestados no âmbito da comunicação de más notícias na Unidade de Atendimento Urgente
de Adultos, através da elaboração de uma norma de procedimento e de uma Scoping Review.
Resultados: Contributo para a melhoria da qualidade dos cuidados prestados no âmbito da
comunicação de más notícias no contexto de urgência, através de realização de formação e
da implementação de uma norma de procedimento no serviço onde foi realizado o estágio.
Conclusão: De acordo com a análise crítica e reflexiva sobre o processo de aquisição e
desenvolvimento de competências, foram adquiridas todas as competências comuns e
específicas do enfermeiro especialista, bem como as competências de Mestre em
Enfermagem.
This report represents the culmination of the journey undertaken within the scope of the sixth Master's Degree in Nursing in Association with a Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing: the person in critical condition. Objective: To describe the activities performed and the strategies developed throughout the academic career and the Final Traineeship, which allowed for and demonstrated the acquisition and development of the common and specific skills of the nurse specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing: the Person in Critical Condition, as well as the skills of the Master in Nursing. Methodology: Reflexive analysis of the main activities and strategies developed during the Final Traineeship carried out in an emergency service and critical reflection on the acquired competencies. Presentation and description of the Intervention Project on Bad News Communication in the Context of Emergency, developed according to the Project Methodology. This project aimed at improving the quality of care provided in the context of bad news communication in the Adult Urgent Care Unit, through the development of a procedure standard and a Scoping Review. Results: Contribution to the improving the quality of care provided in the context of bad news communication in the emergency department, through training and implementation of a standard procedure in the service where the internship was conducted. Conclusion: According to the critical and reflective analysis on the process of skill acquisition and development, all common and specific competencies of the specialist nurse, as well as the competencies of the Master of Nursing were acquired.
