Abstract(s)
Com a crescente globalização do fenómeno da violência associada ao desporto, em particular ao futebol, urge a necessidade da Polícia de Segurança Pública, como entidade com função preponderante para o combate desta efeméride, reflectir sobre esta problemática. Na prossecução dessa necessidade, a identificação de factores-chave que contribuem, directamente, para a dinâmica comportamental do fenómeno mencionado afigura-se de importância basilar, de modo a poderem ser traçadas linhas de combate eficazes e direccionadas para o centro do problema. Tomámos então a liberdade de aprofundar os nossos conhecimentos acerca da legislação em vigor, relacionada com a violência associada ao desporto, bem como, da dinâmica dos grupos de adeptos e a sua relação com os clubes. Além disso, procedemos a uma análise acerca do policiamento desportivo desenvolvido pela PSP, comparando os factores estudados com países europeus de referência. É imperioso mudar o rumo que o fenómeno vem assumindo, estando certos que a responsabilidade de tal mudança recai sobre múltiplos agentes e requer soluções que exigem coragem e propósitos vincados.
With the increasing globalization of the phenomenon of violence associated with sports, particularly football, it is urgent that Public Security Police, as an entity with preponderant role in fighting against this violence and have a depth reflection of this vast problem. In pursuit of this need, the identification of key factors which directly contribute to the behavioral dynamics of the mentioned phenomenon appear to be of fundamental importance so that effective combat lines may be traced and directed to the center of the problem. We therefore took the liberty to deepen our knowledge regarding legislation related to violence associated with sports as well as the dynamics of groups of fans and their relationship with clubs. Additionally, the policing of sports events by PSP were analyzed comparing factors studied in some European countries taken as examples. It is imperative to change the direction that the phenomenon has assumed, being certain that the responsibility for such changes lies with multiple agents and requires solutions that demand courage and marked objectives.
