Resumo
O presente trabalho teve como principal objetivo tentar quantificar os resíduos de origem alimentar, na recolha dos ecopontos, e na recolha de resíduos orgânicos provenientes da restauração, escolas, infantários e supermercados no Concelho de Gondomar. Com base na política de proteção ambiental, foi analisada a evolução da produção de resíduos nos últimos 10 anos em Portugal, tendo em atenção que os dados referentes á quantificação de resíduos alimentares são inexistentes. A empresa Rede Ambiente, S.A.,tem como principais atividades apenas a recolha de RSU’s, e Limpeza Urbana, sendo a operação de descarga dos resíduos feitos na LIPOR – Estação de Tratamento. Através da recolha de resíduos provenientes dos ecopontos, foi possível a realização de pesagens a embalagens no âmbito geral - papel e plástico.
Abstrat This thesis aimed to try to quantify the waste food source, the collection of ecopoints and collecting organic waste from restaurants, schools, kindergartens and supermarkets in the municipality of Gondomar . Based on the environmental protection policy, we analyzed the evolution of waste production in the last 10 years in Portugal, taking into account that the data regarding the quantification of food waste are nonexistent. The company Rede Ambiente, SA, is engaged only in collection of RSUs, and urban cleaning, with the landfill of waste made in LIPOR - Treatment Station. By collecting waste from ecopoints was possible to weigh packaging in general areas - paper and plastic.
