| dc.description.abstract | No âmbito da doença oncológica é habitual o tratamento cirúrgico, podendo haver atraso da cicatrização da ferida cirúrgica por deiscência e/ou infeção, tendo impacto na vivência da pessoa e na satisfação das suas necessidades, sendo necessário a intervenção do enfermeiro. A partir da necessidade de formação sentida por mim nesta área de intervenção, e de um diagnóstico das necessidades de formação (realizado através de um questionário) dos enfermeiros do serviço onde trabalho (serviço de ortopedia), desenvolveu-se o projeto “Pessoa com doença oncológica com ferida cirúrgica infetada e/ou com deiscência – intervenção de enfermagem”. Este tem como finalidade desenvolver competências de enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica, vertente enfermagem oncológica, promovendo a melhoria de cuidados no serviço onde trabalho. O presente relatório apresenta a implementação do projeto, refletindo de forma crítica e fundamentada sobre as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio em três contextos diferentes: consulta intra-hospitalar de feridas no hospital A, consulta de acompanhamento a pessoas com tumores sólidos no hospital A e no serviço de ortopedia no hospital B. Foram elaborados uma scoping review e documentos de apoio à prática, efetuada observação da prática, prestação de cuidados, formação aos colegas e reflexão sobre a prática utilizando o ciclo de Gibbs. Neste trabalho, são também apresentados os resultados obtidos. Este percurso e relatório estão ancorados na teoria de enfermagem das Transições de Meleis, uma teoria de médio alcance desenvolvido por Afaf Meleis. Com a realização deste percurso desenvolvi as competências propostas pela Ordem dos Enfermeiros (OE), no regulamento das competências comuns do enfermeiro especialista (OE, 2010), pela European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS, 2018) e específicas do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem em pessoa em situação crónica e paliativa (OE, 2011). Com a formação e os documentos que disponibilizei aos colegas, contribuí para a melhoria de cuidados à pessoa com doença oncológica com ferida cirúrgica com infeção e/ou deiscência no serviço onde trabalho. Futuramente, perspetivo aprofundar a formação nesta área e melhorar os cuidados de enfermagem. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | In the field of oncologic disease surgical treatment is common and the wound healing can be delayed due to dehiscence and/or infection, having an impact on the person's experience and the satisfaction of their needs, thus requiring the intervention of the nurse. Based on the training needs that I felt in this area of intervention and on a diagnosis of the training needs (carried out through a questionnaire) of the nurses of the service where I work (orthopedic service), the project “Person with oncological disease with an infected surgical wound and/or with dehiscence - nursing intervention” was developed. This project aims to develop the skills of the specialist nurse in medical-surgical nursing – oncology strand – promoting the improvement of care in the service where I work. This report presents the implementation of the project, reflecting critically and substantially on the activities developed during the training in three different contexts: wounds In-hospital consultation in hospital A, follow-up visit to people with solid tumors in hospital A and in the orthopedic service in hospital B. A scoping review and practice supporting documents were elaborated, observation of the practice, care taking, colleagues training and reflection on the practice using the Gibbs cycle. This work also presents the results obtained. This course and report are anchored in the nursing theory of the Meleis Transitions, a medium-range theory developed by Afaf Meleis. By the end of this journey, I developed the competences proposed by the Ordem dos Enfermeiros (OE) in the regulation of the common competences of specialist nurses (OE, 2010), proposed by the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS, 2018) and the specific competences of the specialist nurse intervening with people in chronic and palliative situations (OE, 2011). With the training and the documents that I have made available to my colleagues, I have contributed to the improvement of care for the person with oncological disease with surgical wound with infection and/or dehiscence in the service where I work.
