In this specific context, the psychotherapeutic intervention of the helping relationship has taken on a privileged role, due to its fundamental principles, in the realization of the different internships, with the ultimate aim of obtaining gains in mental health. Depression, included in the classification of mood disorders, is very common and there is evidence that it is one of the most common mental health problems, affecting around 350 million people worldwide and being the 3rd leading cause of global disability. Portugal is the second European country with the highest prevalence of psychiatric disorders, with Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders being the most prevalent in our country. Both pathologies have the existence of anxiety symptoms as a common factor, which increases their prevalence.
