Resumo(s)
O presente relatório descreve e analisa criticamente o meu percurso realizado
This report describes and critically analyses my experience during the internship for the Master's Degree in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing, carried out in different clinical contexts of care for women, newborns and families. The internship aimed to consolidate technical, scientific and relational skills, integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical practice, always supported by scientific evidence and the ethical principles of the profession. Through observation, active participation and reflective analysis of different clinical contexts, the concept of care is presented in relation to 4 clinical cases, through which technical and relational skills were developed that allowed for the combination of interventions based on scientific evidence and strategies for emotional regulation and the promotion of maternal and fetal well-being. Thus, the research on the application of the assumptions of Polyvagal Theory proved to be relevant in understanding how understanding the autonomic responses of the parturient can enhance the construction of a safe, trusting and therapeutic bond with a view to providing a positive experience of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. Carrying out this professional internship was a fundamental step towards consolidating my identity as a future Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing, developing specific skills that will enable me to provide safe, individualised care focused on the needs of women and their families.
