Abstract(s)
O objeto deste trabalho resulta na descrição das atividades que desenvolvi na Divisão Municipal de Educação do Município de Oliveira de Azeméis, num período de 10 anos, de 2011 a 2021, ao nível do serviço das refeições escolares, dos jardins-de-infância e 1º ciclo do Ensino Básico.Por força da implementação de novas diretrizes resultantes do projeto para a delegação de competências no domínio da educação, o Município de Oliveira de Azeméis passou a contratar e a supervisionar o serviço de refeições escolares. A este serviço foi ainda acrescentado uma mais valia, a distribuição de fruta escolar, com o objetivo de incentivar o consumo de frutas e hortícolas, em contexto escolar. No serviço de refeições escolares foram implementadas instruções de trabalho, códigos de boas práticas, formação de pessoal não docente das escolas, rotinas e circuitos de decisão e controlo, análise de resultados, capacitando todos os intervenientes para regras de boas práticas de higiene e segurança alimentar.Adicionalmente, foi também implementado o serviço de educação alimentar, com a criação do Laboratório Salada de Frutas, que através de ações de sensibilização, workshops, jogos e outras atividades, orienta e sensibiliza as crianças para escolhas alimentares mais seguras e saudáveis. Com a implementação destes planos, foram sentidas melhorias significativas ao longo do tempo, quer na qualidade das refeições escolares, quer na interação dos vários intervenientes nos serviços.
The object of this work results in the description of the activities I have developed in the Education Division of the City Council of Oliveira de Azeméis, for ten years, from 2011 to 2021, at the level of the food services for kindergartens and 1st cycle of Basic Education.As result of the implementation of new guidelines resulting from the project for the dele-gation of competencies in the field of education, the City Council of Oliveira de Azeméis began to hire and direct manage the school meals services. In addition to the change in service, was added a new value, with the distribution of school fruits, to encourage and promote the consumption of fruits and vegetables, in the school context.In the school food services were implemented work instructions, codes of good practices, training of non-teaching staff of schools, routines and circuits of decision and control, analysis of results, empowering all actors to rules of good practices for hygiene and food safety.In addition to the changes, the food education service was also added, with the creation of the Fruit Salad Lab, which through awareness-raising actions, workshops, games, and other activities, guides and sensitizes children to safer and healthier meal choices.With the implementation of these action plans, significant improvements were noticed over time, both in the quality of school meals and in the interaction of all service actors.
