The undergraduate, specialization and Master's programme curricula in universities running these programmes have been compared to similar courses offered in some of the best national and international universities to assess their effectiveness educational In the last decade, public management has taken great relevance in the administration and control of public goods, for which, specific knowledge is required for the performance of public servants; where the universities offer specialized programs in interdisciplinary areas that are related with the activities of the State. The implementation of the New Public Management, intend that the projects executed by public institutions are carried out with a transparent ethical with the purpose of satisfying the needs of citizens in a profitable, efficient and effective manner; that is, with Quality Management. As a professor at Business School of Rosario´s University, this topic of knowing about public administration becomes one of the main motivations to be able to investigate how the educational offer is currently in Colombia.
