- Relatório da Campanha de Mar “SAT_UHRS_2022”Publication . Brito, Pedro; Noiva, João; Rosa, Marcos; Batista, Luís; Terrinha, Pedro; Instituto Português do Mar e da AtmosferaThis report describes the activities of the SAT_UHRS_2022 sea campaign carried out from May 10 to 15, 2022, aboard the RV Diplodus, operating from the port of Sesimbra. The main objective of this campaign was to carry out sea acceptance tests (SAT) for new components that were recently integrated into the ultra-high resolution seismic (UHRS) reflection data acquisition system of the Marine Geophysics Laboratory (SeisLab) of the Division of Marine Geology and Georesources (DivGM) of IPMA. Additionally, it aimed at: 1) evaluating the hypothesis of the Minitrace II to operate as a trigger controller of the multibeam and Topas systems in order to minimize acoustic interference; 2) evaluating whether the anomalous operation of the multibeam detected in the last campaigns can be related to its joint assembly with the TOPAS transducer and 3) testing data acquisition simultaneously with the Topas system and the new UHRS equipment. During the campaign, about 63 km of data were acquired (including the 3 systems: single-channel, multi-channel and Topas), corresponding to about 17 km of multi-channel lines, 41 km of single-channel lines (including the 2 streamers) and 4 km of parametric echosounder lines (Topas).
