Abstract(s)
O projecto em curso Conimbriga MMXX Avaliação do potencial científico e patrimonial do Vale Norte de Conímbriga incide sobre todo o vale norte da cidade, englobando áreas tão relevantes como a denominada Casa dos Repuxos, o Viaduto e o Anfiteatro. Neste texto pretende-se apresentar os resultados já obtidos no decurso deste projecto, nomeadamente os novos dados obtidos na Fachada Norte da Casa dos Repuxos nas campanhas de escavação de diagnóstico realizadas em 2021 e 2022. Para além da recuperação de parte da planta desta domus, até agora desconhecida, tem sido possível constatar e perceber os seus ritmos de ocupação e caracterizar de forma detalhada as existências estruturais, estratigráficas e materiais nesta parcela urbana.
Conímbriga MMXX – Evaluation of the scientific and heritage potential of the North Valley of Conímbriga is an ongoing archaeological project that covers the whole northern valley of the roman city, encircling relevant areas such as the Casa dos Repuxos, the Viaduct and the Amphitheater. Here, we present the results already obtained from the exploratory excavations conducted in 2021 and 2022, namely, the new data obtained from the North façade of Casa dos Repuxos. Beyond recovering part of the house plan of this domus, still undiscovered until now, it was possible to identify and understand its occupation dynamics and to characterize in detail the structural, stratigraphic, and material remains of this urban area.
