Abstract(s)
The diagnosis of simple ovarian cyst is increasingly frequent due to the growing use of radiological exams. It is essential to distinguish between a simple and a complex ovarian cyst, because the approach is different, being the diagnostic pathway adjusted to the pre- or postmenopausal woman. The initial recommendation to follow depends upon the size of the lesion and the CA 125 measurement.
