Abstract(s)
elementos do navio tenham acesso a informação.
The practical implementation of SOCs in the preparation of the ship before departure is imminently movable and there are necessities of substantial documentation in relation to records of the same one. However, the information systems used currently are not able to update the status of devices in real time, which postpone this task to later time. The evolution of mobile devices, coupled with the development of capabilities for operation in wireless network, promotes new ways to use them to help in the implementation of SOCs. Thus, these devices can be used to extend the information to all points on the ship, thus enabling better sharing of information in real time. In addition, mobile technology and emerging capabilities introduce new possibilities, especially with regard to interaction between the user and application installed on the mobile device. In this thesis we have developed an integrated information system to support the user in the registration of items of the SOC in each equipment. This system comes with the intention to use mobile technology to optimize the execution mode of the current SOCs. Besides the mobile technology, the system also has a web module that allows the monitoring of implementation through a computer, allowing all elements of the ship have access to information. It is also possible to store the records of each activity on the database server, allowing further evaluation of the activities elapsed in each SOC, according to the date of the same ones and the element responsible for the same activities.
