Este artigo reflecte sobre a relação entre as estratégias empresariais e as práticas de gestão das
remunerações para os quadros superiores nas empresas do sector de componentes para automóvel.
A técnica de investigação utilizada foi o inquérito por questionário. A amostra é constituída por
72 empresas. Os resultados indicam que as práticas de gestão das remunerações para os quadros
superiores apresentam diferenciações consoante as estratégias de negócio preconizadas pelas
empresas do sector de componentes para automóvel. Concluímos, assim, que as empresas do sector
de componentes para automóvel ao possuírem diferentes estratégias, possuem também diferentes
formas de preconizar essas mesmas estratégias, as quais sustentam e são sustentadas por diferentes
práticas de gestão das remunerações.
These paper intends to make a reflection on the identification and characterization of relations between business strategies and some practical remunerations management for highly qualified professionals at automotive parts industry companies. The research method used was the survey. The study covers 72 companies. Results suggest that the remunerations management practices for highly qualified professionals present differentiations consonant business strategies at automotive parts industry companies. We conclude that the automotive parts industry companies when possessing different business strategies, also possess different forms to praise these same strategies, which support and are supported by some different remunerations management practices.
