Abstract(s)
Human resources management has been acknowledged as an important factor for the development of
firms. This study's main goal is to analyse the relations between management of highly qualified
professionals and corporate strategies. Consequently, we formulate the central problem in this study
through the following research question: how do highly qualified professionals management practices
link to corporate strategies in the automotive components industry? The research method used was
the survey. The study covers 72 companies. Results suggest that the development management
practices for highly qualified professionals present differentiations consonant business strategies at
automotive parts industry companies. We conclude that the automotive parts industry companies
when possessing different business strategies, also possess different forms to praise these sarne
strategies, which support and are supported by some different development management practices
(recritment, seleccion, training, careers, and remunerations). This study contributes to formulating
highly qualified professionals management systems aligned with corporate strategies.
