Abstract(s)
Este projeto foi desenvolvido na estufa de cultivo de Cannabis sativa L. medicinal, propriedade da
empresa MHI S.A., localizada na Horta da Chancarina, em Campo Maior. Em virtude de um
protocolo estabelecido entre a MHI S.A. e o Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre, com o objetivo
de ministrar um Curso Técnico Superior (CTeSP), totalmente inovador a nível europeu, intitulado
Tecnologias de Produção e Processamento de Cannabis sativa, surgiu a necessidade de criar uma
área exclusiva para a investigação e o ensino prático do referido curso. A administração da MHI,
prontamente sensível a esta necessidade, disponibilizou a sua estufa em Campo Maior para este
fim. Este contexto levou à formulação deste projeto, cuja finalidade foi proporcionar à nova área
as condições físicas e ambientais essenciais ao cultivo da planta, em conformidade com os padrões
de qualidade da empresa e com os requisitos legais exigidos pelas entidades reguladoras,
nomeadamente a Autoridade Nacional do Medicamento e Produtos de Saúde (INFARMED). Para
alcançar o objetivo proposto, foi imprescindível proceder à identificação e avaliação das condições
do local de implantação do projeto, ao levantamento das necessidades físicas e de equipamentos,
ao desenho das novas instalações, bem como à estimativa dos custos envolvidos na implementação
das infraestruturas necessárias.
This Project was developed in the medicinal Marijuana cultivation area owned by the company MHI S.A., located in Horta da Chancarina in Campo Maior. Due to the protocol signed between MHI S. A. and the Portalegre Polytechnic Institute, which aims to provide a totally innovative CTeSP course in Europe, called Cannabis sativa Production and Processing Technologies, the need arose, which was duly addressed by the MHI Administration, to create an area dedicated exclusively to research and teaching classes in a practical context of the aforementioned Course, and for this purpose MHI made this area available in its own greenhouse in Campo Maior. This fact led to the need to create this project, in order to provide the new area with physical and environmental conditions essential for cultivation and consistent with the quality standards in practice in the entity hosting the project and which satisfy the legal requirements demanded by regulatory entities, namely INFARMED. In order to achieve the proposed objective, it was necessary to identify the location where the project would be implemented, verify its conditions and characteristics and prepare a survey of the physical and equipment needs, design the new facilities, and budget the necessary implementations.
