Abstract(s)
Abstract: Anta’s village is the object of study of this work, giving importance not only to the cluster and its buildings, but also to the surrounding territory nearest the village, on it depends and is related to. The analysis, to better understand the territory, is done from the general to the particular, doing first an overview of the territory which includes Anta’s village, then moving to a study of the built cluster, until the study and survey of buildings, materials and construction techniques. Thus, the work develops in three main chapters, properly connected, deepening several issues that are important to understand this dissertation and everything related to the discipline of architecture. The methodology which supports this work was based on field work than rather document analysis, because the existing bibliography about the village is very scarce. The observation was the key to this work, as well as the photography, the field notes and some indirect interviews conducted during site visits. Two objectives, were established, that reflect the importance of the village rehabilitation, so that it can transmit the valuable heritage which constitutes the Anta, not intending with this dissertation to do a manual of how can intervene in this heritage, but an interesting document that could be the starting point for those who want to further investigate more and intervene directly in the buildings. These objectives are the basis of a determined strategy to make known of the vast patrimony of this village, trying to sensitize the responsible authorities for the difficulties that these local constructive culture, space and desertification. In conclusions, it is important to point out, that the objectives of this work, were answered and fulfilled in a practical and sequential way, covering the more general context of the built cluster until the simple technique to build, resulting in a gradual threading of ideas that helps to understand and realize this location.
