  • Medições de ruído em simultaneo por diferentes equipamentos e suas implicações legais

    In the ambit of the evaluation of security and health conditions of the workers of the management systems of RSU is essential the knowledge and the control of the existing risks that are associated to the various activities executed and developed during the day in the different working shifts by workers of undifferentiated residual collection, selective collection and landfill. In this way, the present work had as its objective, yet to carry out a whole measure of simultaneous noise readings with a sound level meter and dosimeter to identify possible differences of the values between the measurements. These measurements intend to place some questions which are the following: whit the obtained results in the measurements can one verify possible alterations of legal obligations on the part of the firms?; are there verified differences in the measurements results with sound level meter and dosimeter?; the differences found may be significant to the point of altering more than the legal obligation?

    O planeamento em saúde está inerente à prática profissional do enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Comunitária. Este permite estruturar a forma como este profissional desenvolve as suas atividades de intervenção na comunidade da qual faz parte. Num país, e numa região, em que o envelhecimento é uma realidade conhecida por todos, é importante que estes profissionais da enfermagem se preocupem com os seus idosos e que unam esforços para intervir juntos dos mesmos. Estes indivíduos merecem envelhecer de forma ativa se este for o seu desejo e a qualidade de vida é um bem que lhes deve ser facilitado. O presente projeto surge da necessidade de conhecer a realidade da freguesia de Santa Amaro, Sousel, no que diz respeito à qualidade de vida dos seus idosos e à forma como envelhecem. Foram implementadas várias atividades durante o período de estágio em enfermagem comunitária, inserido no I Curso de Mestrado da ESSP nesta área, que colmatassem as necessidades identificadas aquando do diagnóstico social desta comunidade. Assim, desenvolveram-se várias atividades na área da HTA, diabetes, prática de exercício físico e combate à solidão social. Mudar hábitos é uma realidade que se sabe difícil, mas contribuir para a capacitação dos nossos idosos é nossa função enquanto enfermeiros, não devendo esta ser descurada

  • The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on accounting information systems and organizations’ performance

    This paper empirically examines the impact of COVID-19 on accounting information systems and organizations' performance. ­­ It follows a quantitative approach. For data collection, an online questionnaire was developed and tested. The final version of the questionnaire was applied to the 2556 largest companies in Portugal. The 3 research hypotheses under study were tested with 101 valid answers. The results reveal a high rate of implementation of accounting and performance measurement instruments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Regarding the dynamics of the updates of organizations’ performance measurement systems, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed and described as primarily positive. In turn, the performance of the companies was negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study contributes to a better understanding of the role of accounting and performance instruments in organizations under a high level of organizational uncertainty.
