A importância dos websites na divulgação da sustentabilidade ambiental nos hotéis de 4 e 5 estrelas em Portugal Continental

Abstract(s)
O turismo é um dos setores económicos com mais influência a nível global e,
tendencialmente, com um desenvolvimento e progresso exponencial. Com isto, é
importante a adoção de estratégias que tornem o crescimento sustentável e responsável
sem que, consequentemente exista uma degradação negativa dos setores adjacentes.
A sustentabilidade é atualmente debatida em inúmeras áreas de atuação dado que, a
consciencialização e integração de todas as instâncias integrantes é um estágio importante
para que os objetivos comuns sejam atingidos. Sabendo que, as unidades hoteleiras
existentes, mais concretamente em Portugal Continental, são responsáveis pela emissão
de fatores poluentes para o meio ambiente, o objetivo desta dissertação, é estudar
precisamente a (in)existência de práticas sustentáveis ambientais que promovam uma
melhor conduta, e se a mesma se traduz na forma de comentário de um cliente.
Sabendo que estamos numa Era tecnológica, e que progressivamente, a marcação de
viagens e de estadias é efetuada online, este trabalho focou-se na análise dos websites dos
hotéis para a verificação da existência ou não de práticas sustentáveis e nas plataformas
de marcação de viagens, mais concretamente na Booking, para a análise dos comentários
dos clientes, relativamente aos hotéis de quatro e cinco estrelas em Portugal Continental.
Neste trabalho serão estudados, para uma melhor compreensão e integração do foco de
interesse, inúmeras matérias que conduziram à integração do estudo de caso.
Primeiramente será efetivado um enquadramento sobre a pertinência do tema, o estudo
central da dissertação e os objetivos propostos, de seguida, serão estudados temas que
permitirão conduzir a investigação de forma mais concisa e clara, depois será efetuada
uma análise geral da hotelaria em Portugal Continental, logo após serão demonstrados os
métodos de análise a serem utilizados, neste caso a netnografia e a metodologia
qualitativa, posteriormente será efetuado o estudo de caso e por fim as conclusões a serem
retiradas do mesmo.

With this, it is important to adopt strategies that make growth sustainable and responsible without a negative degradation of adjacent sectors. Sustainability is currently debated in numerous areas of activity, given that, the awareness and integration of all participating bodies, is an important stage for achieving common goals. Knowing that the existing hotel units, specifically in Portugal, are responsible for the emission of polluting factors into the environment, the objective of this dissertation is to study precisely the (in)existence of sustainable environmental practices that promote better behavior, and whether it translates into the form of a customer's comment. Knowing that we are in a technological era, and that the booking of trips and stays is progressively carried out online, this work focused on the analysis of hotel websites to verify the existence or not of sustainable practices and on travel platforms, specifically on Booking, to analyze customer comments regarding four- and five-star hotels in Portugal. In this work will be studied, for a better understanding and integration of the focus of interest, numerous subjects that led to the integration of the case study. Firstly, a framework will be carried out on the relevance of the topic, the central study of the dissertation and the proposed objectives, then topics will be studied that will allow conducting the research in a more concise and clear way, then a general analysis of the hotel industry in Portugal. Then the analysis methods to be used will be demonstrated, in this case the netnography and the qualitative methodology, later the case study will be carried out and finally the conclusions to be drawn from it.
