Abstract(s)
In our times, there is an increasing challenge for human resources regarding rewards and satisfaction of professional systems. In this context, the present research analyzes the influence of the system of rewards in the satisfaction of Guards of Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM). To understand this purpose, the following objectives were established: to identify the rewards system in force in the PRM; to analyze the influence and effectiveness of the existing rewards system on the satisfaction of Police Guards; and, finally, to propose a system of rewards that can be more attractive and satisfactory for its professionals. For the development of the research, the qualitative method was used, based on structured interviews with PRM leaders, as well as members with lower-level police functions, in order to clarify if the current reward system brings satisfaction to professionals in the Police Guards class. According to the results, most of the interviewees were of the opinion that the PRM rewards system cannot satisfy Police Guards, but also the lack of a structure that defines the criteria in its attribution. On the other hand, most interviewees stated that PRM's rewards system is not adequate to the expectations of its professionals, to the point of contributing to satisfying and motivating the performance of their duties.
