Abstract(s)
A insuficiência respiratória como condição associada a doença respiratória, aguda ou crónica, condiciona a qualidade de vida. Neste sentido, a terapia por ventilação não-invasiva assume um papel fundamental na estabilização da doença, traduzindo-se em evidentes ganhos para o utente, que serão maiores na associação a reeducação funcional respiratória.
Objetivos: refletir sobre a importância da intervenção de enfermagem de reabilitação através da reabilitação respiratória nas pessoas com insuficiência respiratória sob ventilação não invasiva, e definir ganhos de intervenção dos cuidados de enfermagem de reabilitação, em função dos níveis de funcionalidade, com base no modelo de autocuidado.
Metodologia: A metodologia de cuidados utilizada baseia-se na teoria de médio alcance de Lopes (2006), sendo que o estudo realizado através da metodologia de Robert Yin (2001).
Discussão/Conclusão: O enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem de reabilitação desempenha um papel fundamental na aceitação, efetivação e adaptação do doente à terapia, bem como na capacitação para o autocuidado.
Respiratory insufficiency as a condition associated with respiratory disease, acute or chronic, conditions the quality of life. In this sense, non-invasive ventilation therapy plays a fundamental role in the stabilization of the disease, resulting in evident gains for the patient, which will be greater in the association with functional respiratory reeducation. Purpose: to reflect on the importance of the rehabilitation nursing intervention through respiratory rehabilitation in people with respiratory insufficiency under nonin-vasive ventilation, and to define gains of intervention of rehabilitation nursing care, de-pending on the levels of functionality, based on the model of self-care. Methodology: The methodology of care used is based on the medium-range theory of Lopes (2006), being the study realized through the methodology of Robert Yin (2001).
