dc.description.abstractO presente documento Ć© referente Ć  experiĆŖncia no estĆ”gio, que foi a opĆ§Ć£o escolhida para se realizar no Ć¢mbito da Unidade Curricular de EstĆ”gio/Projeto do Mestrado de Engenharia de Software, da Escola Superior de Tecnologia de SetĆŗbal (ESTSetĆŗbal), pertencente ao Instituto PolitĆ©cnico de SetĆŗbal (IPS). Este perĆ­odo de estĆ”gio contou com a integraĆ§Ć£o de vĆ”rios projetos, em dois clientes da empresa que Ć© a entidade empregadora, com o objetivo de automatizaĆ§Ć£o de testes. Esta experiĆŖncia permitiu uma integraĆ§Ć£o, observaĆ§Ć£o e anĆ”lise daquilo que Ć© o meio empresarial em Portugal e daquela que Ć© a vida de um profissional na Ć”rea de QA. Este trabalho propƵe uma soluĆ§Ć£o que envolve o estudo e apresentaĆ§Ć£o de alternativas Ć s ferramentas utilizadas no mercado, com especial foco em testes automatizados. Foi elaborado um estudo de mercado que avalia que tipo de propostas de emprego existem na Ć”rea de QA, quais as necessidades do mercado, questƵes salariais envolvidas e se os planos de formaĆ§Ć£o a nĆ­vel acadĆ©mico estĆ£o adequados ou sĆ£o suficientes no que toca a formar ou consciencializar profissionais a enveredar por Ć”reas relacionadas com a qualidade software.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThis document refers to the internship experience, which was the option chosen to be carried out within the scope of the Internship/Project of the Master in Software Engineering, at the Escola Superior de Tecnologia de SetĆŗbal (ESTSetĆŗbal), belonging to the Instituto PolitĆ©cnico de SetĆŗbal (IPS). This internship period included the integration of several projects, in two customers of the company that is the employer, with the objective of automating tests. This experience allowed an integration, observation and analysis of what is the business environment in Portugal and what is the life of a professional in the QA area. This work proposes a solution that involves the study and presentation of alternatives to the tools used in the market, with a special focus on automated tests. A market study was carried out to assess what type of job offers there are in the QA area, what the market needs are, salary issues involved and whether academic training plans are adequate or sufficient in terms of training or raising awareness professionals to embark on areas related to software quality.pt_PT
