Abstract(s)
O presente relatório, surge no âmbito do 5º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, da Escola Superior de Enfermagem de São José de Cluny, na Unidade Curricular de Estágio com Relatório, do ano letivo 2021/2022 visando a sua apresentação e discussão pública, para obtenção do grau Académico de Mestre.
Os objetivos do presente trabalho são: evidenciar o desenvolvimento das competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória; ilustrar o desenvolvimento de competências de análise e raciocínio crítico-reflexivo; e evidenciar o desenvolvimento de competências de Mestre, através da apresentação e discussão.
O relatório expõe o percurso desenvolvido ao longo do curso nomeadamente nas práticas clínicas. O estágio I designado “Cuidar na sala operatória” decorreu no Bloco Operatório do Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça e o estágio II que contempla três módulos, foi desenvolvido em diferentes contextos da prática. O módulo I, efetivado no Bloco de Exames de Gastroenterologia e o módulo II - estágio de opção decorreu em diferentes unidades, desde a consulta pré-operatória à consulta de follow-up de forma a conhecer todo o percurso seguido pela pessoa aquando da decisão de uma intervenção cirúrgica, tendo como foco de interesse o aprofundamento de competências na área da segurança da pessoa/família a vivenciar a experiência cirúrgica nos três períodos operatórios, pré, intra e pós-operatório. O módulo III culmina com a realização do presente Relatório.
Os contextos enunciados proporcionaram todo o processo que enfatiza a aquisição e o desenvolvimento de competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica, na área de enfermagem à pessoa em situação perioperatória: cuida da pessoa em situação perioperatória e respetiva família/ pessoa significativa e maximiza a segurança da pessoa a vivenciar situação cirúrgica e da equipa pluridisciplinar, congruente com a consciência cirúrgica, rumo à aquisição das competências de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica.
Para a consecução deste trabalho, recorri a metodologia descritiva, analítica e reflexiva, fundamentando a minha prática na evidência científica e referenciais da profissão.
The present report comes within the scope of the 5th Medical-surgical Nursing Master’s Degree from Escola Superior de Enfermagem de São José Cluny (ESESJC), Curricular unit of Internship with Report, of the school year of 2021/2022 given that its presentation and public discussion aims the obtaining of the Master’s degree. The goals defined for this work are as follows: to potentiate the development of common and specific skills of the nurse specialist in medical-surgical nursing, in the field of nursing to a patient in perioperative situation; to illustrate the development of skills at the level of analysis and of critical reflective reasoning; and evidence the development of the Master’s skills through its presentation and discussion. The report exposes the whole path done along the Master’s degree, more precisely in the clinical practices. Internship I, designated as “Taking Care at the surgery room”, was performed in the Operating Room/Complex of Hospital Central do Funchal – Dr. Nélio Mendonça and internship II, which beholds three modules, was in different contexts of the practice. Module I, was carried out in the Gastroenterology Exam Complex and module II (optional internship), elapsed in different units, from the pre-surgical to the follow-up consult, in order to acknowledge all the path done by the individual when a surgical intervention is decided to be taken, having focus on the safety of the patient/family that is undergoing the surgical experience in the three surgical phases – preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative. Module III comes to an end with the execution of the present report. The stated contexts provide all the process that emphasizes the acquisition and the development of common and specific skills of the nurse specialist in medical-surgical nursing, in the field of nursing to a patient in perioperative situation: takes care of the person in perioperational situation and their relatives or significant person and maximizes the safety of the person that is undergoing the surgical situation and of the multidisciplinary team, in agreement with the surgical conscious, towards the acquisition of the skills of a Master in Medical-surgical nursing. For the achievement of this work, I have applied the descriptive, analytic, and reflexive methodology, substantiating my practice in the scientific evidence and in the references of the profession.
