| dc.description.abstract | Tendo em consideração a perspetiva da legislação aplicável, os agentes da Polícia de Segurança Pública devem adotar uma postura de constante disponibilidade para o serviço, apesar de estarem inerentes eventuais sacrifícios de interesses de índole pessoal. Deste modo e de acordo com princípios éticos, pretendeu-se refletir sobre o impacto da execução dos serviços remunerados por parte de profissionais com funções policiais, quer em entidades públicas, quer em entidades privadas, partindo da base das próprias atribuições inerentes ao desempenho da missão da Polícia de Segurança Pública. Assim, revelou-se essencial indicar que a ação policial se baseia em padrões, não somente globais e precisos, bem como éticos, potenciando que as atitudes e os valores de foro ético orientem o dia a dia profissional. Similarmente, assumiu-se que se um dos pilares da ética policial se baseia no espírito de serviço à comunidade, a requisição de serviços remunerados por parte de Entidades Públicas poderá colidir com as atribuições inerentes ao papel executado pelos polícias. Neste sentido, a prestação de serviços remunerados poderá ser encarada com um carácter ambíguo, uma vez que não aparta as normas estatutárias quanto ao dever de disponibilidade, nem as referentes ao carácter permanente e obrigatório do serviço policial. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Taking into account the perspective of the applicable legislation, the Public Security Police officers must adopt a position of constant availability for the service, although any personal sacrifices of interests are inherent. In this way and in accordance with ethical principles, it was intended to reflect on the impact of the execution of remunerated services by professionals with police functions, either in public entities or in private entities, starting from the own attributions inherent to the performance of the mission of the Public Security Police. Thus, it has been essential to indicate that police action is based on standards, not only global and precise, as well as ethical, enabling the attitudes and values of ethical forum to guide the professional day-to-day. Similarly, it was assumed that if one of the pillars of police ethics is based on the spirit of service to the community, the requisition of remunerated services by Public Entities may collide with the attributions inherent to the role played by the police. In this sense, the provision of remunerated services may be considered ambiguous, since it does not depart from the statutory norms regarding the duty of availability, nor those referring to the permanent and obligatory nature of the police service. | pt_PT |
