Abstract(s)
Most of the research on Employer Attractiveness focuses on the issue of attracting potential employees (external perspective), while fewer studies seek to understand the impact of this construct, in its internal perspective. Therefore, this study aims to verify if Job Satisfaction mediates the relationship between Employer Attractiveness and Organizational Silence. To measure each construct, three instruments were used: the Employer Attractiveness scale, Job Satisfaction, and Organizational Silence. For this, the quantitative method was used through an on-line survey. The results showed that three hypotheses were corroborated: significant relationship between economic, interest and social value and the submissive dimension of the organizational silence scale, mediated by job satisfaction. In this study it was possible to conclude that organizational silence is influenced by job satisfaction and not by the dimensions of employer attractiveness, noting the effect through this path. And that employer attractiveness practices significantly influence satisfaction.
