O presente relatório descreve e analisa o percurso formativo realizado ao longo dos estágios em contexto de bloco operatório, contemplando uma reflexão crítica sobre as atividades desempenhadas e as experiências vivenciadas, de modo a alcançar os objetivos definidos, orientados para a aquisição de competências especializadas e do grau de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, na área da pessoa em situação perioperatória. Esta trajetória académica possibilitou inúmeros momentos de aprendizagem e de crescimento profissional, que contribuíram para a consolidação dos conhecimentos teórico-práticos e para o desenvolvimento do raciocínio crítico-reflexivo, essenciais para a construção de uma identidade profissional enquanto futura enfermeira especialista, pautada pela responsabilidade, pelo compromisso ético e por uma prática de cuidados perioperatórios baseada na evidência científica.
Aliado ao estágio e ao presente relatório, desenvolveu-se um estudo de investigação de natureza qualitativa, de caráter exploratório e descritivo, intitulado "Perceção dos enfermeiros sobre a utilização da metodologia ISBAR no bloco operatório", com o objetivo de compreender a perceção dos enfermeiros sobre a utilização desta metodologia neste contexto. A segurança e a comunicação constituem pilares fundamentais para a qualidade dos cuidados de saúde, sendo que a existência de uma metodologia padronizada como o ISBAR, surge como uma estratégia para assegurar uma comunicação interprofissional eficaz, e garantir, não só, a minimização das falhas de comunicação nos momentos de transição, mas também, a melhoria do trabalho em equipa e a promoção da segurança e da continuidade dos cuidados.
Em contexto perioperatório, a utilização da metodologia ISBAR assume um papel determinante na consolidação de uma cultura de segurança, fomentando, através de uma transferência de informação mais segura, estruturada e organizada, práticas seguras e de qualidade que respondem às necessidades da pessoa em situação perioperatória e contribuem para os ganhos em saúde.
The present report describes and analyses the educational pathway undertaken throughout the clinical placements in the operating room setting, including a critical reflection on the activities performed and the experiences lived, in order to achieve the defined objectives oriented towards the acquisition of specialized competencies and the Master's degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing, in the area of the person in the perioperative situation, this academic trajectory enabled numerous moments of learning and professional growth, which contributed to the consolidation of theoretical-practical knowledge and to the development of critical-reflective thinking, essential for the constrution of a professional identity as a future specialist nurse, guided by responsability, ethical commitment and a perioperative care practice based on scientific evidence. Alongside internship and the present report, a qualitative research study of an exploratory and descriptive nature was developed, entitled "Nurses' perception of the use of the ISBAR methodology in the operating room", with the aim of the understanding nurses' perception regarding the use of this methodology in this context. Safety and communication constitute fundamental pillars for the quality of healthcare, and the existence of a standardized methodology such as ISBAR emerges as a strategy to ensure effective interprofessional communication and to guarantee not only the minimization of communication failures during transition moments, but also the improvement of teamwork and the promotion of safety and continuity of care. In the perioperative context, the use of the ISBAR methodology assumes a determining role in the consolidation of a culture of safety, fostering, through a safer, strutured and organized transfer of information, safe and high-quality practices that respond to the needs of the person in a perioperative situation and contribute to health gains.
