Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho assume como objeto de estudo o modelo de estrutura organizacional do regimento, em vigor no Exército Português, tendo como objetivo a validação das acumulações de funções observadas no modelo de estrutura organizacional das unidades tipo regimento, unidade base do Exército Português, considerando a existência de atividades similares entre a componente operacional e componente fixa que permitem obter ganhos de sinergia.
A investigação encontra-se dividida em três partes: identificar uma lista de atividades comum aos vários regimentos do Exército Português, identificar as atividades similares entre a componente fixa e a componente operacional e, por fim, analisar as acumulações de funções à luz das atividades similares.
Assumiu-se uma estratégia de investigação de carácter quantitativa, alicerçada no método dedutivo, enquadrada pela técnica de recolha de dados não documental de observação não participante, utilizando como instrumento metodológico o inquérito por questionário não presencial.
Conclui-se que as atividades similares encontradas permitem obter, na sua maioria, ganhos de sinergia muito significativos nas várias subestruturas da estrutura organizacional do regimento, validando na sua totalidade as acumulações de funções observadas nas diversas áreas funcionais, traduzindo desta forma os princípios de otimização e racionalização nos recursos humanos, podendo ainda haver acréscimo das mesmas, tendo em vista a melhoraria do desempenho organizacional.
The aim of this work is to study the model for the organizational structure adopted by the Portuguese Army for its Regiments and assumes as objective to corroborate the accumulations of functions observed in the organizational structure model of Regiment-like units, considering the existence of similar activities between the operational component and the fixed component that allow obtaining synergy gains. The investigation is divided into three parts: identifying a list of activities common to the various regiments of the Portuguese Army, identifying the similar activities between the fixed component and the operational component and, finally, analyzing the accumulation of functions in accordance with the similar activities identified. A quantitative research strategy was assumed, based on the deductive method, according to the technique of non-documentary data collection of non-participant observation, using as a methodological instrument the investigation by a non-presential questionnaire. It is concluded that the similar activities found allow obtaining, mostly, very significant synergy gains in the various substructures of the organizational structure of the regiment, validating in its entirety the accumulation of functions observed in several functional areas, thus allowing optimizing and rationalizing human resources, with space to improve organizational performance.
