Este trabalho pretende abordar a dualidade entre o perfeito e o imperfeito e o que esses conceitos determinam nas decisões dos designers e na escolha e alterações posteriores ao projeto por parte por parte dos utilizadores. A dissertação de Mestrado para o curso de Design do Produto e do Espaço discorre sobre o conceito de perfeito (belo) no decorrer da História, os movimentos a ele relacionados, personagens que o invocaram ou tentaram determinar o perfeito no design e ações que trouxeram a antítese a padrões estabelecidos ou recém-criados, com posicionamentos e atitudes ditas como imperfeitas. Por fim é apresentado um levantamento com profissionais designers e utilizadores para perceber o que pensam em relação à perfeição, a adaptações realizadas, e como deveria ser a relação entre essas duas figuras.
This work talks about the duality between the perfect and the imperfect and what those concepts determine on designers decisions and in the choices and future changes made by the users on the project. The master degree dissertation of the Product Design and space talks about the concept of perfection and beautifulness throughout history, movements and characters that determines the perfect on design and actions that brought the antithesis to the standards with actions and postures once called imperfect. Finally, a research with professional designers and users was made to understand what they think about perfection and project adaptations and how should be the relation between them.
