A Empresa alvo deste Projeto Aplicado, a “Bsmart”, concentra toda a informação inerente ao seu negócio no Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) PHC. O ERP PHC dispõe de diversos outputs com informação resumida que contribuem para um acompanhamento em tempo real dos resultados e das áreas mais críticas da Empresa: Comercial, Suporte Técnico, Administrativo-Financeiro e Gestão de Projetos. Este Projeto Aplicado teve como base a análise de documentos e entrevistas realizadas aos principais responsáveis das diversas áreas da “Bsmart”, bem como entrevistas individuais a todos os seus colaboradores, num total de 16 entrevistas, de forma a suportar a fundamentação científica relevante. Todos os colaboradores da “Bsmart” estão motivados e alinhados com os objetivos e estratégia da empresa. São colaboradores autónomos e responsáveis, trabalham em equipa e delegam entre si, estão conscientes da relevância do seu papel na organização e exploram todos os recursos ao seu alcance. A “Bsmart”, de acordo com a literatura, cumpre com os pressupostos que estão na base do Plano Operacional. No que diz respeito ao Orçamento, a “Bsmart” segue o seu Plano Estratégico fruto da coordenação interna entre os vários departamentos. Segue também os quatro fundamentos que servem de sustento à Gestão da Estratégia: comunicação e alinhamento, planeamento, feedback e aprendizagem e visão. O Controlo Orçamental é efetuado pela Responsável Comercial, a nível do alinhamento dos resultados com os objetivos, e pela Gestora de Projetos, no âmbito do controlo dos Projetos. O Processo de Controlo de Gestão é contínuo e os resultados são acompanhados com regularidade no ERP PHC para que, em caso de desvios acentuados, sejam implementadas ações corretivas. O ERP PHC da “Bsmart” cumpre com todos os pressupostos que estão na base da utilização do Balanced Scorecard e Tableaux de Board e consegue obter uma visão global nas quatro perspetivas: sócios, clientes, processos internos e aprendizagem e desenvolvimento. O ERP PHC é um sistema modular, centrado numa única base de dados, que fornece informação diária e atualizada a todos os departamentos da “Bsmart”. É composto por módulos desktop e web permitindo uma gestão do negócio de forma integrada e em tempo real. Para além destes fatores, o ERP PHC agiliza na implementação de workflows tendo em consideração as boas práticas e contribui para um aumento da eficiência e eficácia operacional. O ERP PHC é a ferramenta de controlo e de pilotagem. Neste Estudo de Caso concluímos que o ERP PHC é a ferramenta chave no Controlo de Gestão da “Bsmart” e que dispõe de informação atualizada revelando-se orientadora na tomada de decisão. Este Estudo de Caso pretende deixar o seu contributo acerca do papel que um ERP representa, neste caso o ERP PHC, para uma PME Portuguesa, reforçando os fatores de sucesso que contribuem para um Sistema de Controlo de Gestão eficaz.This Applied Project was developed in the scope of the Master in Management and Business Strategy and intends to identify if the factors or tools that "Bsmart" uses, in the sphere of Management Control, contribute to an effective Management Control System. The target company of this Applied Project, "Bsmart", concentrates all the information inherent to its business in the PHC Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The ERP PHC has several outputs with summarized information that contribute to a real time follow-up of the results and the most critical areas of the Company: Commercial, Technical Support, Administrative-Financial and Project Management. This Applied Project was based on the analysis of documents and interviews conducted with the main people responsible for the various areas of "Bsmart", as well as individual interviews with all its employees, in a total of 16 interviews, in order to support the relevant scientific basis. All "Bsmart" employees are motivated and aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company. They are autonomous and responsible employees, work in teams and delegate among themselves, are aware of the relevance of their role in the organization and explore all the resources within their reach. According to the literature, "Bsmart" complies with the assumptions underlying the Operational Plan. Regarding the Budget, "Bsmart" follows its Strategic Plan as a result of internal coordination among the various departments. It also follows the four fundamentals that support Strategy Management: communication and alignment, planning, feedback and learning and vision. Budgetary Control is carried out by the Commercial Manager, at the level of alignment of results with objectives, and by the Project Manager, within the control of Projects. The Management Control Process is continuous and the results are regularly monitored in the ERP PHC so that, in case of sharp deviations, corrective actions are implemented. The ERP PHC of "Bsmart" complies with all the assumptions that underlie the use of the Balanced Scorecard and Tableaux de Board and manages to obtain an overall view in the four perspectives: partners, customers, internal processes and learning and development. ERP PHC is a modular system, centered in a single database, which provides daily and updated information to all "Bsmart" departments. It is composed by desktop and web modules allowing an integrated business management in real time. Besides these factors, ERP PHC speeds up the implementation of workflows taking into account good practices and contributes to an increase in operational efficiency and effectiveness. ERP PHC is the control and piloting tool. In this Case Study we conclude that ERP PHC is the key tool in the Management Control of "Bsmart" and that it has updated information revealing itself to be guiding in decision making.
