Deste modo, primeiramente é realizada toda a revisão bibliográfica sobre os temas em estudo, onde é também descrita a informação estatística essencial e complementar para esta matéria; segue-se a recolha dos dados quantitativos e qualitativos e a sua posterior análise descritiva; por fim, é realizado o Diagnóstico Prospetivo, a Visão de Futuro e as Conclusões e Recomendações retiradas de todo este trabalho.This dissertation aims to identify the potential of Rural Tourism in the Azorean Region, more specifically the triangle islands, focusing on analyzing the supply side in order to identify the owner’s point of view about the development of the rural tourism. Therefore, in the first part of this research it is mentioned all the literature review about the study themes, where it is also described the statistic data which complements this part of the research; then it is specified the analyze of quantitative and qualitative data.
