As intervenções policiais de nível tático e operacional recorrem em permanência à capacidade logística desta polícia, exigindo dela, uma resposta adequada. Neste contexto, emerge a problemática deste estudo, face à qual se realizou uma investigação qualitativa de caráter exploratório para se percecionar mediante entrevista a gestores da PSP nesta área, quais as atuais dificuldades e limitações existentes nos serviços de logística no nível tático e operacional. Para o propósito empírico foi delimitada a amostra ao Comando Metropolitano de Lisboa (COMETLIS) e ao Comando Distrital de Setúbal (CD Setúbal), obtendo-se a perspetiva do decisor logístico. Estes Comandos não refletem a totalidade da realidade nacional, contudo servem a Área Metropolitana de Lisboa que comporta uma atividade policial intensa com necessidades logísticas também intensas. Os resultados do estudo demonstram que para os serviços de logística de base urge a afetação de pessoal com formação e motivado, a implementação de ferramentas informáticas colaborativas e integradas, o recurso moderado e melhor supervisionado a Outsourcing ainda melhor capacitação da PSP no domínio da autossuficiência.The Public Security Police in order to fulfill their mission, it is important to have a good management of the human resources and materials available, seeking effectiveness and efficiency. The police interventions of tactical and operational level use in a permanent way the logistical capacity of this police, requiring an adequate response from it. In this context, the problem of this study emerges, against which a qualitative exploratory investigation was carried out to perceive itself through interviews with PSP managers in this area, what are the current difficulties and limitations existing in logistics services at the tactical and operational level. For the empirical purpose, the sample was delimited to the Lisbon Metropolitan Command (COMETLIS) and the District Command of Setúbal (CD Setúbal), obtaining the perspective of the logistic decision-makers. These Commands do not reflect the entire national reality, but serve the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, which involves an intense police activity with also intense logistical needs.
