A partnership was established with a company that operates short-term accommodation, located in the Algarve, so data was collected from Airbnb, regarding all the accommodation located in two municipalities of the Algarve, having been identified 209 accommodations. Data collection occurred in the summer of 2021, when Portugal was subject to mobility restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is intended that this study contributes to SDG number 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). As a first contribution, the results validate the existence of an association between the characteristics of the accommodation and its customers' satisfaction, in the following sense: accommodations of the type of villa with swimming pool, managed by Superhosts, which do not allow pets, and which require longer stays, present higher levels of satisfaction. Secondly, the results validate the existence of an association between the characteristics of the accommodation and the price charged, in the following sense: the accommodation of the type of villa with swimming pool, with greater capacity, and which requires longer stays, charges higher prices. Thirdly, there is empirical evidence of an association between customer satisfaction and occupancy. As a fourth contribution, there is empirical evidence of an association between price and occupancy.engShort-term accommodations rentalsCovid-19SatisfactionOccupationPrice accommodationShort-term accommodation rentals in the pandemic eramaster thesis203147154
