Este tema surge da necessidade de trazermos as mesmas, para o dia a dia da sala de aula e prevenir que sejam deixadas para segundo plano. Pretendemos também evidenciar as suas diversas potencialidades ligadas às áreas do Português e da Matemática, abordando ilustrações, obras e pintores, contribuindo e pensando sempre num maior aproveitamento escolar. Ao longo desta investigação qualitativa respondemos à grande questão: - Como é que as Artes Visuais podem ser potenciadoras do ensino da Matemática e do Português no 3.º ano do 1.ºCEB? O seguinte estudo carateriza-se por um Estudo Qualitativo que pretende responder a um paradigma interpretativo através da investigação-ação, assim utilizámos diversas técnicas de recolha de dados, importantes na tomada de decisões e conclusões neste estudo, com alunos de 3.º ano do 1.º CEB, numa escola que segue o Movimento da Escola Moderna (MEM). Para que tal acontecesse desenhámos 6 atividades, divididas por várias tarefas sequenciais, 3 de Português e 3 de Matemática com objetivo de potencializar a exploração educativa através das Artes Visuais. Assim, o estudo realizado evidenciou as potencialidades das Artes Visuais no ensino da Matemática e do Português, sendo que os alunos compreenderam que através das obras e ilustrações conseguimos observar outras áreas de conhecimento, demonstraram predisposição e muito interesse ao longo das suas tarefas, evidenciando-se nos resultados positivos de todas as atividades.In the present study carried out to obtain the Master's degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, we focused our research on Visual Arts as a positive interdisciplinary approach, in order to understand their true impact in practice. educational. We also intend to highlight its diverse potentialities linked to the areas of Portuguese and Mathematics, addressing illustrations, works and painters, contributing and always thinking about greater academic achievement. Throughout this qualitative investigation we answered the big question: - How can Visual Arts enhance the teaching of Mathematics and Portuguese in the 3rd year of 1st CEB? The following study is characterized by a Qualitative Study that aims to respond to an interpretative paradigm through action research, so we used different data collection techniques, important in making decisions and conclusions in this study, with 3rd year students of 1st CEB, in a school that follows the Modern School Movement (MEM). To make this happen, we designed 6 activities, divided into several sequential tasks, 3 in Portuguese and 3 in Mathematics with the aim of enhancing educational exploration through Visual Arts.
