Materiais e Métodos: Foram incluídos nove pacientes, com implantes previamente colocados, que apresentavam ausência de gengiva queratinizada ou uma altura de gengiva queratinizada <1mm. Foram avaliados diversos parâmetros clínicos: índice de Placa (IP), índice gengival (IG), hemorragia à sondagem (HS), profundidade de sondagem (PS), altura de gengiva queratinizada (AGQ) e biótipo. Após 1 e 2 semanas de cirurgia foi avaliado o nível de dor e presença de complicações, e ao fim de 1 e 3 meses foram avaliados os restantes parâmetros. Resultados: Ao fim de 3 meses observou-se uma melhoria geral dos parâmetros IP, IG, HS e AGQ (p<0,05), à exceção do parâmetro biótipo (p> 0,05). A maioria dos parâmetros tiveram maiores diferenças da 1ª consulta para a 2ª consulta, sendo que na 3ª e 4ª consulta houve uma estabilização dos resultados. Houve um aumento significativo na altura de gengiva queratinizada entre a primeira consulta e os 3 meses. ( 0,61±0,60 vs 4,44±0,88, p<0,05). Conclusão: A técnica de Enxerto Gengival Livre mostrou ser previsível no aumento de banda de gengiva queratinizada em redor de implantes.Aims: Evaluate the height of keratinized mucosa that can be obtained around implants that are subject to a oral surgery using a free gingival graft. Materials and Methods: In this study were included nine patients, with previous placed implants, that presented absence of keratinized gingiva. Various clinical parameters were evaluated, such as: Plaque index (PI) , gingival index (GI) , bleeding on probing (BOP), probing pocket depth (PPD), gingival biotype and height of keratinized gingiva. After 1 and 2 weeks of surgery, the pain level and the presence of complications were evaluated, and at the end of 1 and 3 months the remaining parameters were evaluated. Results: At the end of 3 months after de surgery was observed an overall improvement (p<0,05) of the clinical parameters evaluated (IP, IG, HS, AGQ), except for the gingival biotype (p>0,05). The major results had the differences between the 1st and 2nd appointment, and on the 3rd and 4th appointment there was a stabilization of the results. There was a significant growth of height of keratinized gingiva in every patient as we could observe compare the initial average and the average calculated in the last appointment (0,061±0,60 vs 4,44±0,88, p>0,05).
