Assim, decidimos analisar primariamente o Exército Português como uma organização sem fins lucrativos. Assim sendo, torna-se necessário caracterizar paralelamente o que é uma organização, em que consiste uma organização sem fins lucrativos, quais as suas necessidades de Informações, e por fim adoptar esta analogia ao Exército. Para se proceder ao estudo desta situação o método aplicado foi o Dedutivo através da pesquisa e análise de informação qualitativa e quantitativa de documentos de fontes oficiais. Por último é efectuado o confronto entre as necessidades de Informações para o Exército Português, face às capacidades deste nessa área.Abstract This applied research work has the objective to research the Portuguese Army’s Intelligence System. For that, we decided to analyze primarily the Portuguese Army as a Non-Profit Organization. To do that, it became necessary to characterize parallel what is an organization, what is exactly a Non-Profit Organization, what are their Intelligence needs, and to finish adopting this analogy to the Army. To do the study of this situation we applied the Deductive method through research and analysis of qualitative and quantitative information from official documents.
