Carvalho, Nuno2018-11-212018-11-212018http://hdl.handle.net/10400.26/24943O presente trabalho de investigação teve como objetivo analisar o processo do Consentimento Informado/Esclarecido em vigor no Hospital das Forças Armadas-Pólo de Lisboa, fornecido/proposto ao utente internado nos departamentos médico e cirúrgico, verificando o seu esclarecimento e a satisfação. A metodologia seguiu um raciocínio hipotético-dedutivo com a formulação de perguntas e hipóteses, adotando uma abordagem quantitativa e como instrumento de recolha de dados, o questionário, sendo os dados tratados no programa informático Excel1. A pergunta de partida que orientou este trabalho foi “De que forma o processo do Consentimento Informado/Esclarecido em vigor no Hospital das Forças Armadas-Pólo de Lisboa, fornecido/proposto ao utente internado, cumpre os requisitos éticos e legais?” As dimensões analisadas envolveram duas vertentes fundamentais para o qual o consentimento é obrigatório, a Técnica Invasiva e a Intervenção Cirúrgica, e uma abordagem generalista, o seu Processo. Como resultado final, concluiu-se que o processo do consentimento proposto aos utentes cumpre adequada e satisfatoriamente os requisitos ético-legais, apresentando lacunas que urgem refletir, para as quais são efetuadas recomendações/sugestões, visando a melhoria dos cuidados de saúde. Abstract: The objective of the present research was to analyze the Informed Consent Process in force at the Armed Forces Hospital – Lisbon Campus, provided/proposed to the patient hospitalized in the medical and surgical departments, verifying their clarification and satisfaction. The methodology followed a hypothetical-deductive reasoning with the formulation of questions and hypotheses, adopting a quantitative approach and as a data collection tool, the questionnaire, the data being processed in Excel software. The starting question that guided this work was: "How does the Informed Consent Process in force in the Hospital of the Armed Forces-Lisbon, provided/proposed to the hospitalized patient, meet the ethical and legal requirements?" The dimensions analyzed involved two fundamental aspects for which consent is mandatory, the Invasive Technique and Surgical Intervention, and a generalist approach, its Process.
