A investigação baseou-se numa metodologia qualitativa, com recurso a entrevistas, notas de campo e textos escritos, visando compreender, de uma forma aprofundada, as aprendizagens práticos junto dos estudantes envolvidos. Do trabalho realizado, podemos concluir que os objetivos propostas as práticas musicais timorenses tiveram impactos positivos nas aprendizagens, musicais, sociais e culturais dos estudantes foram largamente alcançadas.The education project entitled “Timorese Music in secondary school: The Artistic and Cultural Learning Process”, involved the interaction of music and dances Timorese in the context of a class of grade 6th. The research was based on a qualitative methodology, incorporating interviews, field notes and written texts, so as to thoroughly understand the involvement of the students in that school.
