É um assunto de grande importância, porque o estudo das reorganizações, auxilia-nos a compreender as actuais organizações, bem como prever as tendências das futuras alterações. Este trabalho está organizado numa introdução, num pequeno enquadramento histórico da Artilharia, no corpo do trabalho em seis capítulos, Considerações Finais e anexos. Cada reorganização foi estudada segundo as leis do Exército, documentos e em algumas referências bibliográficas, onde pudemos no final chegar a Considerações Finais, respondendo à questão central, que foi: “Como as reorganizações do Exército e da Artilharia, reflectiram as tendências das principais escolas militares de cada época?”Abstract The present work has as a goal to analyze the main reorganizations of the Portuguese Army and its consequence in the Artillery, since 18 th century until the present, to know the history of the evolution organizational of the Artillery, to understand the main influences and its applicability at the different times. It is a subject of great importance, because the study of the reorganizations, it will help us to understand the present organizations, as well as foreseeing the trends of the future alterations. This work is organized in the following way: an Introduction; a small historical framing of the Artillery; the body of the work has got six chapters; there are some Final Considerations and annexes.
